Since our plans to go to Lake Berryessa were foiled, we decided to go to the coast instead. I had heard that Muir Beach is pretty, so we navigated there.
It was a cool and cloudy day, so we walked along the beach.
I had fun running into the waves and climbing on the rocks, and Geoff had fun taking pictures.
Then we drove along Route One. It is a very dangerous road, full of twists and turns. The cliff face is very sheer, and lots of people have died. In addition, there were many bicyclists on the road, and it was very difficult to pass them. However, there were some great views.
We ended up at Stinson Beach, where the sand is white and there are many birds.
By this time, it was time to go to San Francisco to meet friends for dinner.
